Day 1 – Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2 – Delhi/Samode
Drive to Samode. Check in at the fairytale
palace reconverted into a hotel. Afternoon free to explore the palace
known for the high quality of its frescos
and particularly in the use of indigo
colour and the richly painted Durbar Hall.
Day 3 –Samode/Khimsar
Morning drive to khimsar. Check in at
khimsar Fort, an incredibly romantic
heritage hotel. In the far distance are
sand dunes that shelter fields where
blackbuck can be spotted grazing.
Afternoon explore the fort and village.
Day 4 – Khimsar/Manvaar
Late morning drive to Manvaar. Arrive
Manvaar resort for Lunch. Afternoon jeep
safari exploring the typical village Dhani,
Chilli Fields, craftsmen at work, desert
wildlife and virgin sand-dunes. A gala
Dinner follows at the resort with
musicians and dancers.
Day 5 – Manvaar
Early work-up and drive to Khichan
village. Watch the demoiselle cranes and
red sand stone havelis at Khichan. Return
to resort for Breakfast. After lunch
depart for Manvaar Camp on camels/camel
cart. Gala dinner at the tented camp with
musicians and dancers and campfire.
Day 6 – Manvaar/Nimaj
Morning drive to Nimaj (optional visit of
Jodhpur en route). Check in at an exotic
tented camp which is located on the dome
chhatrasagar and offers on insight into
the traditional style of royal camping.
The luxury tents with an attached plush
bath having running hot and cold water and
its own private sit-out overlooking the
lake. The interiors are decorated with
person motifs in brilliant blue and
pink, offering breathtaking views of
sunrise and the Arravali ranges on the
horizon.
Day 7 – Nimaj
Morning at leisure. The people of the area
have a way of living that has probably
remained unchanged since centuries,
consisting of a collection of huts with
thatched roofs and walls covered with a
plaster of clay, cow dung, and hay, making
a termite-free facade that blends in with
the sand of the countryside. Afternoon jeep
safari to the rural area, conducted by the
royal family, introduces you to local
culture and traditions by taking you into
the homes and settlements of the people
and being received with warmth and
affection, and experience, which often
eludes the ordinary traveler. The safari
includes a visit to the farmlands,
settlements of Gujjars and farming
communities, house of various of various
artisans, settlement of snake charmers, the
7th century Hindu temple and a drive
through the grazing pastures exploring the
wilderness of the area.
Day 8 – Nimaj/Devigarh
Drive to Devigarh (Optional visit of
Kumbhalgarh fort or Ranakpur Jain Temples
en route) Devigarh is well placed in the
lap of nature, majestically standing with
the natural environments and the hillock
of Arravali adding to it’s exotic charm.
The fort overlook the village of Delwara
and is close to the temples of Eklingji
and Nagdo.
Day 9 – Devigarh
Day at leisure to enjoy the spa facilities
at Devigarh or to Explore the region (Nagdo
and Eklingji temple towns.)
Day 10 - Devigarh
Day at leisure (Optional excursion to
Udaipur or Chittorgarh)

Cochin
Arrive cochin and transfer to hotel
trident. Once the centre of the spice
trade and now the principal port on the
Malabar coast, Cochin’s rich and
varied
history bears testimony to Portuguese,
Dutch and British influences over the
centuries. Evening boat cruise around the
Bloghatty Place. You can view the
picturesque Chinese fishing nets,
silhouetted against the horizon at sunset.

Day 2 –
Cochin
Discover the historic town of Cochin
on a sightseeing tour. The mattancherry
Palace, built by the Portuguese in 1556.
St. Francis Church the oldest in the
region. The Jewish synagogue, built in
1568, preserves scrolls of the old
testament in Hebrew. The spice market and
the old Jewish quarter are worth a visit.
Overnight at the trident hotel, Cochin.
Day 3 – Backwater Cruise
After breakfast, transfer to the
Vembanad Lake jetty. At 12:30, Vrinda will
sail across the Vembanad Lake and enter
the backwater. Lunch on board. The vessel
will sail along these scenic waterways for
four and a half hours. Vrinda will return
to the Vemband Lake in time for you to
watch the sunset. Later in the evening,
you can watch a Mohiniattam recital. This
classical done form, distinctive to
Kerala,
is also called the ‘Dance of the
Enchantress’. Dances attired in beautiful
traditional costumes will perform with
slow, graceful movements and highly
emotive expressions. Vrinda will anchor
for the night just off Pathiramanal
Island. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4 – Backwater cruise
Vrinda will sail to the middle of the
lake of sunrise. After breakfast, it will
sail through scenic backwaters, passing
through on of the few areas in the world
where farming is done below sea level. The
vessel will anchor of Chambakulam by
mid-morning and guest will be
transferred
to a traditional rice boat. You will
explore the boat yard which displays the
traditional long snake boat used in races.
Visit st. mary’s church, established by
St. Thomas in 1721. Return to Vrinda for
Lunch.
Afternoon at Leisure. In the evening catch
a glimpse of village life along the
backwaters as you sail in a traditional
rice boat and experience a way of life
unique to this region. Visit some of the
ancient temples en route. The boat will
pass through picturesque stretches of the
backwater to Alleppey, known as the
‘Venice of the East’. At Alleppey you will
board Vrinda to return to Bembanad Lake.
Vrinda will anchor for the night.
Day 5 to Day 8 Marari
Vrinda will sail to the middle of the lake
at sunrise. After breakfast the vessel
will return to the lake jetty by 10:00
hours, disembark and transfer by car to
Mararikulam. Stay four night at Marari
Beach Resort set in a palm grove that runs
down to the beach. Relax on the shores of
the Arabian Sea.
Day 9 – Marari/Cochin
Morning free. Afternoon transfer to
Cochin. Overnight at the Trident hotel,
Cochin.
