SPIRITUAL NORTH – 8 days / 7 nights

Day 1 – Delhi/Haridwar/Rishikesh
Depart by Shatabdi Express train to Haridwar. Upon arrival visit Haridwar, situated on the Holy river Gangas. Continue drive to Rishikesh (24 kms.) Check-in and stay at Hotel.

Day 2 – Rishikesh / Deoprayag/Rishikesh
Morning excursion to Deoprayag (70 kms) – showcase of traditions, myths and mysticism. Here the holy rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda meet and take the name of ‘Ganga’ (Gangas). Late afternoon return to Rishikesh. Evening withness the ‘Sandhya Aarti’ (Evening prayers) on Triveni Ghat.

Day 3 – Rishikesh / Overnight train
Morning visit Rishikesh – city of Nirvana dotted with numerous yoga centers. Afternoon drive to Saharanpur Railway station (100 km). Depart by Shalimar Jammu Tawi Express Train at 2020 hrs. Overnight on board.


Day 4 – pathankot/Dharamshala by car
Arrive Pathankot at 0405 hrs and transfer from Railway station to Dharamshala (84 km). Upon arrival check in at hotel.

Day 5 – Dharamshala : McLeodgunj
Morning visit McLeodganj – the little Tibet, the seat of exiled Government of Tibet Headed byits spiritual leader – H.H. The Dalai Lama.

Day – 6 Dharamshala / Amritsar
Drive to Amritsar (195 km). Check in at hotel. Afternoon free. Late evening visit Golden Temple – the spiritual nerve center of the Sikh Faith, to witness the evening ceremony of taking of the holy book (Guru Granth Sahib).

Day 7 – Amritsar / Delhi
Morning sight seeing of Amritsar incuding the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh. Late afternoon transfer to railway station for departure to Delhi by Shatabdi Express train. Transfer to hotel upon arrival in Delhi.

Day 8 – Delhi
Transfer to the airport and depart.

TEMPLES TOUR OF TAMILNADU - 8 Days / 7 Nights

Day 1 – Chennai (Madras)
Arrive Chennai, transfer to hotel, Overnight stay.

Day 2 – Chennai / Trichy
Morning visit Chennai. Afternoon transfer to Railway station to board train for Trichy at 1530. Arrive Trichy at 2050, transfer to hotel.

Day – 3 Trichy/ Tanjore
Morning visit Trichy known for its Rock Fort temple at a height of over 83 metres and Srirangam. Drive to Tanjore (55 km). Afternoon visit Brihadeshwara Temple – also a World Heritage monument. Stay at hotel.

Day 4 – Tanjore / Chidambaram/Pondicherry
Morning drive to Chidombaram (113 km). Visit the temple dedicated to Lord Nataraja, the Cosmic Dancer. Drive to Pondicherry (68 km). Afternoon visit. Stay at hotel.

Day 5 – Pondicherry/Mahabalipuram/Covelong
Drive to Mahabalipuram (112 km). Visit world heritage Mahabalipuram group of monuments including Shore temple, Arjuna’s penance bas-relief, ancient monolithic temples. Continue to Covelong for stay at Fisherman’s Cove:

Day 6 – Covelong/Kanchipuram/Covelong
Morning excursion to Kanchipruam – the golden town, one of the seven sacred most cities in India. The town is dotted with the soaring spires of a thousand temples. Kanchipuram is also famous for its hand woven silks and timeless appeal of its vibrantly coloured saris.

Day 7 – Covelong
Day at leisure on the beach.

Day 8 – Covelong / Chennai
Transfer to Chennai airport for departure flight.
